A male or female golfer of at least 55 years of age, who is a member of an affiliated golf club in the district covered by the ACT Monaro District Golf Association as defined by the New South Wales Golf Association; and has a current Australian Golf Union handicap, can apply to join the ACTRVGA. Effective as of 11 April 2024 the cost of initial membership includes a $50.00 joining fee plus $20.00 for the year. Renewals are $20.00.<\/p>\n

ACTRVGA MOST CONSISTENT PLAYER TROPHY (formerly known as the BOB WOODS TROPHY)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Consequent to discussions held at the November 2023 meeting of the ACTRVGA Committee, it was unanimously agreed that effective as of 2024, the Bob Woods Trophy be renamed the ACTRVGA Most Consistent Player Trophy.<\/p>\n

The Bob Woods Trophy was a perpetual trophy awarded to the most consistent player in any given calendar year. It was donated by former active member of the ACTRVGA, Bob Woods. Bob Woods passed away in 2012.<\/p>\n

Points are cumulatively allocated toward recognition under the trophy on a weekly competition basis as follows: 10 points for first place, then nine for second down to one point for 10th place.<\/p>\n

ACTRVGA IRISH TEAM STABLEFORD TROPHY (formerly known as the JIM LINDWALL TROPHY)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Consequent to discussions held at the November 2023 meeting of the ACTRVGA Committee, it was unanimously agreed that effective as of 2024, the Jim Lindwall Trophy be renamed the ACTRVGA Irish Team Stableford Trophy.<\/p>\n

The Jim Lindwall Trophy was a memorial trophy dedicated to Jim Lindwall, ACTRVGA president from 1995 to 2004. Jim passed away while still in office. The event is played once a year as an Irish Four Ball Event.<\/p>\n
